Homes, Halls and Gardens
Stately Homes and Halls
Gawsworth HallFrom timber framed cottages to glorious mansion houses, the county is home to some of the country’s favourite homes, halls and gardens after which our bedrooms have been named.

Our ‘Arley’ Junior Suite for example is named after Arley Hall, with a Victorian country house that has enormous character built in Elizabethan style, and gardens which are said to be amongst the finest in Britain.  Our Master Suite takes its name from Gawsworth Hall, this most pleasant and charming of Tudor properties, welcomes visitors from May until September to the ancient manor house and some 30 acres of traditional gardens.

Year of the gardens
GardensCheshire has more gardens open to the public per head of population than anywhere else in the UK and so throughout 2008, gardens big and small across the county are helping celebrate its horticultural heritage with an exciting 12 month calendar.
